The Italian American Lawyers Association of San Diego is honored to invite members of the legal profession, community leaders, and friends to our 2026 Annual Gala, to be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the historic Reading Club of San Diego.   This elegant black-tie evening will bring together distinguished members of the bench and bar to celebrate the accomplishments of our legal community while strengthening the bonds that unite Italian American attorneys and supporters throughout San Diego. Guests will enjoy an evening of networking, fine dining, and recognition of individuals whose dedication to the legal profession has made a lasting impact on our community.

A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Daral Mazzarella Legal Community Award, one of the Association's highest honors.   Established by the Italian American Lawyers Association of San Diego, this award recognizes judges, attorneys, and legal professionals whose exceptional accomplishments, leadership, integrity, and commitment to public service have enriched both the legal profession and the broader community.

The award proudly bears the name of Daral Mazzarella, whose unwavering leadership, mentorship, and devotion to the legal community left an enduring legacy that continues to inspire our Association. Through this annual recognition, we celebrate individuals who exemplify the same spirit of excellence, professionalism, and service that defined Daral's remarkable career.   Recipients of the Daral Mazzarella Legal Community Award are selected by the Association's Board of Governors in recognition of their outstanding contributions and meaningful impact on the legal profession.

The Annual Gala is more than an awards ceremony—it is a celebration of our profession, our heritage, and our shared commitment to justice and service. We look forward to welcoming members of the judiciary, attorneys, law students, business leaders, and members of the community for an evening dedicated to honoring excellence while supporting the continued growth of the Italian American Lawyers Association of San Diego.
